In a unexpected collaboration that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of banned rituals and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The mission centers on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Changes

The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
