The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative including angels, demons, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of heroes who will split off from the main group to begin their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could help the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them few options but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the rest of the participants to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can look forward to finding out which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
